Mobile World Congress
Feb. 22-25, 2016
Our U.S. team had a blast at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We hope you enjoy our updates from the center of the wireless ecosystem™
eMerge Americas continues to help establish South Florida as an international tech hub connecting North American and Latin American industries. This year, the event on April 18-19 is expected to draw 13,000 people from 60 countries, and we’re proud to be a sponsor. During the event, Daniel Ghelman, Brightstar’s Head of Mobile Digital Solutions, (far right in photo) joined execs from Millicom, Facebook and NBCUniversal Telemundo for a panel discussion about mobile-first business models.
Mobile World Congress is the place where leaders and innovators come together to explore what is shaping the mobile industry. If it’s hot in the world of mobile, you will find it at MWC. Want to see it for yourself? View our video from the show floor.

The entire mobile world was focused at Mobile World Congress, March 2-5, in Barcelona, and we were right in the middle of the action with a beautiful pavilion, non-stop meetings and exciting announcements. We took a break and hit the show floor to spotlight some mobile trends and show you some of the action.
We’re thrilled to see people stopping to snap photos as they pass by. Our theme this year is “Brightstar is at the center of the wireless ecosystem,” and our meeting rooms are filled with back-to-back meetings.

Thousands of new products had one thing in common – the reliance on smartphones. Check out our report on the cutting edge technology.
We had a beautiful pavilion at the Eletrolar Show in São Paulo, Brazil, Sept. 15-18, 2014. It’s the largest appliance, consumer electronics, mobile & IT fair in Latin America, and our Brightstar Brazil team provided industry insights and explaining all the innovative solutions Brightstar has to offer.
LA Riots rocked the Brightstar pavilion to ring in our new exclusive partnership with Liquipel, the makers of popular Liquipel Watersafe™ technologies. We’re now bringing their products to retailers and dealers across the U.S. – and soon international. Liquipel protects devices with a nanocoating that shields devices from water damage. Their products are also made famous through their partnerships with major artists such as LA Riots, Pharrell Williams and Steve Aoki. Learn more here.
Yes. We’re bright! Brightstar’s booth design was featured as one of the amazing booths at Mobile World Congress 2014.
Ars Technica, a publication that reaches technology experts and influencers, highlighted the Brightstar Pavilion in its feature on all the MWC cool booth designs. That’s no small feat, considering there were more than 1,800 companies that showcased their organizations through exhibition stands and hospitality space.
